Mr. Mick Pinot Grigio 2018 by Tim Adams (Limestone Coast)
Tasting Notes
Mr. Mick Pinot Grigio 2018 has lifted green pear and melon aromas and flavours, with a well balanced crisp yet generous texture, modelled in the classic Italian style with just a touch of fruit sweetness backed by a bright acidity and a lengthy punch of fruit flavour!
Mr. Mick Pinot Grigio 2018 is a great wine to enjoy on its own, as an aperitif or will pair well with a varied range of food, particularly with spicy dishes or seafood.

The climate and soils of the Limestone Coast wine region enable us to produce Pinot Grigio very similar to the grape’s origin in Italy.
Grapes were harvested for Mr. Mick Pinot Grigio 2018 at their peak flavour maturity from a single vineyard in the South Australian Limestone Coast wine region. The juice was separated from skins, carefully transported home to Clare, cold settled and fermented for 14 days. A steady cool ferment ensures a focussed palate with maximum Grigio fruit expression.
Vintage 2018 in the Clare Valley saw lower than average rainfall throughout winter and spring, which led to limited subsoil moisture for the beginning of the growing season. Access to water and good irrigation management was critical, allowing canopies to remain healthy and strong. The long warm, sunny conditions of the ripening days and the cool nights has resulted in consistent yields and excellent quality. Winery Notes
