The Brown Brothers Moscato is beautifully clean with a light straw colour and some youthful green tinges. The nose is lifted with aromas of musk, citrus and freshly crushed grapes with a lively vibrant and mouth filling sherbet flavour.

This adaptable wine is an ideal accompaniment to any occasion whether it is served with or without food; as an aperitif or table wine. Try it with a platter of soft cheese and fresh slices of Granny Smith apple. Or for something different, Brown Brothers Moscato is fantastic with Vietnamese rice paper rolls.

Winery & Vintage Info

Brown Brothers is one of Australia’s leading family-owned wine brands. They pride themselves on their traditions; however they are not a traditional wine company instead having a history of innovation that inspires future direction.
The Brown family has been making wine in Milawa, Victoria since 1889. Founded by John Francis Brown, it was under the guidance of his son, John Charles Brown that Brown Brothers really established its reputation as a producer willing to experiment with innovative grape varieties.
Brown Brothers grow over 32 different grape varieties; therefore the importance of vineyard site in terms of terroir (soil types, aspect and climate) plays a huge role. They have over 840 hectares of grapevines and owns six vineyards across both Victoria and Tasmania, these include our home site of Milawa, Banksdale located in the upper King Valley and sits at 450m, Heathcote in Central Victoria, Mystic Park in the sun-drenched Murray Valley, Kayena Vineyard in the Tamar Valley of Tasmania and The Hazards on Tasmania’s East Coast.
As a key member of Australia’s First Families of Wine, the third and fourth generations of the family keep the Brown tradition alive with members of both generations working within the business.
