Mike Press Chardonnay 2017 (Adelaide Hills)
The Mike Press Chardonnay 2017 vintage is very light straw yellow.
It's mostly about grapefruit, melons, apples and nectarines and it's strongly regional on the nose.
It's refreshing and crisp but retains enough interest, minerality and complexity. There are some grassy notes on the nose and back palate.
No wood maturation, with grapes harvested in the early hours of the day when the temperature is cool. Then picked and cold fermented to capture all the natural fruit aromas and tastes.
Grown just outside the kitchen window of winemaker Mike Press' home, where they watch it come to life throughout the year.
Mike Press Chardonnay 2017 is our Chardonnay at it's best with peach, and melon yet crisp and clean on the palate.
Vintage was perfect with long sunny days and cool nights and mornings. Winery Notes
