Turkey Flat Barossa Valley Grenache Rosé 2017
Enjoy with Friends, under a tree on a hot, summer's day. Not summer? Just turn up the heat & serve with Asian or Spanish inspired spicy or seafood dishes. Best served chilled.
Turkey Flat Barossa Valley Grenache Rosé 2017 is a return to the vintage of old with the 2017 vintage beginning somewhat later than recent years. High spring rainfall and consistent temperatures throughout the growing season saw higher yields coupled with excellent flavour intensity. Overall, another exceptional year.

Having been amongst the first to lead the great Rosé revival, and have since developed a cult following with this light, crisp & dry blend. It has been interesting to watch the popularity of this wine style grow.
Beginning in 1994, we were amongst the first to lead the great Rosé Revival & have since developed a cult following. Beautifully aromatic, this is a light, crisp & dry blend.
Bucking the notion that Rosé is an afterthought, our 'Prince of Pink' has a special place in our hearts & is crafted with a clear purpose. We create the lifted palate of bright, primary fruits by placing rosey-cheeked Grenache in its starring role.
Sourced from specific sites achieving perfect yields promoting prominent primary fruit while retaining appealing palate cleansing crispness.
100% Grenache, Harvested in March 2017, 8.5°-14° Baumé. Drink while young. Winery Notes
REVIEWS & ACCOLADES
"Always a consistent pleasure, this grenache rosé offers immediate attraction. This year the usual list of minor varieties like cabernet, mataro, shiraz and marsanne aren't listed, to highlight its grenache core. A pale pink shine, its granmotherly handbag of musk, and herbal/floral fragrances and, more importantly, its proper mouthfeel of strawberry pith and texture with apple and strawberry juiciness, is all about that grenache in a youthful rosé dress. Its tempered spice and all-round delicious drinking is bang on for a new season."

"Reliably good year after year, this is, quite simply, one of the best dry savoury rosés to be found in Australia. Made from 100% grenache fruit grown in the Barossa Valley, this has for several years been one of the style leaders as rosé transitioned from curiosity to mainstream. The back label tells the story: "Simply a light, crisp and beautifully aromatic wine that is best served chilled." Match it will anything from seared tuna to a Lebanese mezze platter."
