"A favourite of Brick Tamland, perhaps. Tasted blind in a lineup of 20 Australian Cabernet, and this popped out, and now I see it’s sub $20. Happy days. Cabernet, Shiraz, Malbec and Merlot.
Peppermint nougat, black fruit, raspberry frogs. Medium-bodied, comely style, rich but balanced, plenty of sexy oak, but ample satisfaction, good finish. Classic Aussie brew."

"A very attractive medium-bodied 45/38/11/6% blend. Here '17 has worked hand in glove with the vintage. Outrageous bargain. Drink steadily."
94 Points - James Halliday, the Wine Companion, August 2019
The components for Tamblyn were individually fermented in open top fermenters which allowed for optimal extraction of colour and flavour. The wine was matured in a combination of new and old French and American barrels for 18months before blending and bottling.
