Yering Station Little Yering Pinot Noir 2018 (Yarra Valley)
Tasting Notes
Yering Station Little Yering Pinot Noir 2018 is bright cherry red hue.
Intense red cherry and raspberry fruit nose. Perfumed and ethereal.
A classic Pinot style – lovely cherry and red fruit overlayed with savoury spices. A silky concentration provides richness and length. Beautiful natural balance.
"One of the more affordable pinot noir offerings out of the Yarra Valley. All aged in 3-8 year old oak.
It’s a juicy little number. It’s not sweetened or tricked up but all its flavour are forward, open and free. Cherry-berry, sweet and sour, a minor display of herbs. It’s both well priced and well made, and it drink very nicely. Recommended."

Our introductory Pinot Noir. Sourced from younger vines it is soft and juicy with a lovely mix of elegant fruit, savoury spice and earthy undertones. Supple tannins and velvet like finish.
A wet winter delayed bud-burst creating a typical cool climate growing season. Vine balance and an even ripening period delivered grapes with exceptional flavour, structure and fineness. Harvested in early march 2018, with an average vine age of 25 years.
Open top fermenters, and 'roto' (or rotating tanks on their axis) were used in the fermentation process over 16 days. 10 months in French barrels aged 3-8 years.
