Stonier Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir 2017
Stonier Pinot Noir is sourced from a select group of hand tendered vineyards located amongst the rolling hills of the Mornington Peninsula.
The Peninsula's unique geography and cool maritime conditions contribute to a highly distinctive expression of Pinot Noir, typically showing flavours of cherry to savoury plum within a fine tannin structure.
Reviews
"Ripping through a whole bunch of Pinot Noir this morning. Some quick work, of a normal Monday. Perhaps a different kind of work to many, but nevertheless. Here’s a stalwart of well priced Australian Pinot Noir. Light, spicy, strawberry, some smoke and a touch of creamy oak. Light to medium-bodied, red fruits, spicy and juicy, a little rasp of tannin, crisp and sappy spicy finish of fair length. Tasty. Strong release."

SOLD OUT - Stonier Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir 2018 vintage is now available here.
After 12-22 days on skins, the wine was pressed to a mix of fine grain French oak puncheons and barriques (15% new) for malo-lactic fermentation and maturation. A portion of the final blend was also retained in stainless steel tanks, to promote the vibrant fruit profile we cherish with Stonier Pinot Noir. Winery Notes
