The 2023 Bream Creek Pinot Noir boasts a fresh bouquet of flowers and red fruits, with subtle hints of cedar and spice. On the palate, enjoy a similar freshness and a long finish with integrated tannins and notes of cocoa. A delightful choice for any wine connoisseur.

"I only recently reviewed the 2022 Bream Creek Pinot Noir, and I can say that this 2023 is a much finer iteration of this wine.

Cherry, raspberry, kind of succulent, but fresh too, with some spice, perfume, and quiet autumnal notes. It’s medium-bodied, plenty of juicy cherry and raspberry flavour, spiced plum, a pleasing sort of floral mouth-perfume, fine-grained tannin, and a finish of very good length, a little twist of orange peel bitterness to close. I can’t quite decide on 93 or 94 points, but either way, it’s a strong vintage for this wine."

Winery & Vintage Info

While the modern Tasmanian wine industry is young in terms of years established, Bream Creek can be considered as one of the industry’s pioneering wineries. The vineyard at Bream Creek was planted in the early 1970s, making it amongst the earliest commercial vineyards planted in Tasmania.

The Bream Creek brand was established by leading Tasmanian vigneron Fred Peacock back in 1990, at a time when there were less than 10 commercial wineries in the entire state. For 30 years Bream Creek wines have been consistent award winners, helping to showcase the very best of Tasmanian wines to Australia (and the rest of the world).
