There is concentration and depth here, but the wine retains a balanced structure and a savoury character that keeps the fruit in check.

A cool spring and delayed flowering contributed to lower yields in 2022, helping produce fruit with excellent flavour concentration. The result is a Cabernet with plenty of personality, offering immediate drinking appeal alongside the structure for further development in the cellar.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Dense ruby red.

Nose: Fresh leafy aromatics meet vibrant red and dark berries, with subtle tobacco leaf adding savoury complexity.

Palate: Concentrated ripe berry fruit, dark chocolate and baked-fruit characters.
