"I could stick my nose in this all day. This is sensational; more of a question of what we don`t have here! The malt is clean, beautifully defined & dovetails with refined, orangey-citrus notes. The oak is near perfection adding only a degree of tempered weight. I don’t detect peat, but there is some compensating Blue Mountains coffee. Just so beautifully textured with countless waves of clean, rich malt neither too sweet nor too dry. This is faultless distillate, lightens considerably with the oak vanilla dominating. What can you say? An Australian whisky distillery makes a malt to grace the world’s stage.”
