Campbells Merchant Prince Rare Rutherglen Muscat 375ml
Deep mahogany brown, with olive hues. Intense raisin fruit with nutty ‘aged oak’ complexity, which only comes from very lengthy maturation in oak casks. The ultimate in intensity. Raisined sweetness explodes on the front of the palate. Complex nutty flavours flow through the full length of the palate and the drying tannin finish lingers for many minutes."Mesmerising! Merchant Prince is one of the most complex tasting experiences you can have. Such is the depth and age of Campbells fortified stocks; few producers can compete. Dense, deep in colour and super-concentrated, Merchant Prince seems to pour in slow motion. Molasses, dried fruits, soaked raisins and toasted nuts meld and weave their way through the palate, rising in sweet intensity. Clean pair of heels to close. A fortified masterclass. 375ml."

Campbells wines are made from the unique qualities of the Rutherglen Wine Region, five generations of knowledge and a dedication to innovation. With their hands on approach and an uncompromising commitment to quality, they continue to showcase the best that Rutherglen has to offer.p>The grapes for the Merchant Prince Rare Muscat are left late in the season to achieve optimum ripeness, ensuring maximum fruit flavour and a high degree of natural sweetness. Only selected parcels of premium fruit made to the strictest criteria can be added to the Rare Rutherglen Muscat solera. Wine can only be withdrawn from this solera when it matches exactly with the previous withdrawal thus ensuring the quality and consistency of style. As with any blended wine, it is difficult to specify an exact age. The oldest base wine is well over 70 years old, with only wines of the highest standard from excellent vintages being added to this outstanding solera. Winemaker Notes
