Insel Brauerei's 'Baltic Ale' is there take on a Belgian style strong pale ale. The Baltic Ale has a warm gold tone, and pours a beautiful creamy head. A fine, subtly spicy yeast bouquet of freshly crushed green pepper and a little nutmeg frames the soft, full body, deftly integrating the alcohol content. This is a very elegant, dry, wine-like drink with a gently bitter long aftertaste.
