The Grant Burge Moscato Frizzante 2018 is a delicate style, suited to wine lovers of all styles and many different occasions. This wine is handcrafted from premium fruit sourced from vineyards throughout the Barossa, using the traditional Moscato variety of White Frontignac, also known as Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains.
Pale straw with green tinges and vibrant aromas of rosewater, lychee and guava are accented by the sweet floral perfume of fresh rose petals and lavender, with rich, sweet aromas of fresh quince and confectionary musk. The palate is a mix of natural fruit sugar balanced with lower alcohol and crisp acidity to create a pleasingly sweet yet balanced alfresco style.
Best served straight from the fridge, its light spritz makes it perfect as a refreshing apèritif or for drinks with friends on a sunny afternoon.

Grant Burge Wines was established by a fifth-generation Barossa vigneron and winemaker. Throughout his career, Grant has been one of the most respected and innovative forces in the Australian wine industry.
The history of the Burge family and their long association with winemaking in the region can be traced back to March 1855, when noted tailor John Burge immigrated to the Barossa from Hillcot, near Pewsey in Wiltshire, England with his wife Eliza and their two sons. John worked as a winemaker at Hillside Vineyards and his love of viticulture was passed onto his son Meshach, who continued the tradition making his first wine in 1865, while becoming a prominent community leader. Meshach married Emma in 1883 and they had eight children. First-born Percival established the Wilsford Winery near Lyndoch in 1928. Percival had two sons, Noel and Colin, and Colin and his wife Nancy had one son, Grant. Following in the footsteps of his father and forefathers before him, Grant carried the winemaking tradition into the 21st century.
The winery has flourished both nationally and internationally, with the wines receiving acclaim from wine writers and lovers alike, and the unwavering focus on producing beautiful Barossa wines has only grown stronger under the stewardship of Chief Winemaker Craig Stansborough and Viticulturist Rodney Birchmore. – Winery Notes
