The Mount Langi Ghiran Cliff Edge Shiraz 2015 is 100% estate grown, showcasing the Shiraz vine’s affinity for the granite slopes of Mount Langi Ghiran. The 2015 vintage provided good conditions for grape growing, with a dry and reasonably warm season. Due to a cold snap in spring the crops were low yielding resulting in high quality fruit with intense flavours and complexity. Small batches and an array of winemaking techniques, including a portion of whole bunch fermentation, accentuate the subtle nuances of florals and spice found throughout the vineyard, creating a wine with individuality.

Originally established in the 1870's Mount Langi Ghiran's reputation is built on vision, quality and passion. Nestled in the Grampians at the Southern end of the Great Dividing Range, 'Langi' is one of Australia's most distinguished wine producers.

This newly released 2015 Mount Langi Ghiran Cliff Edge Shiraz continues the outstanding recent form of this wine. On the nose there are plenty of blue florals notes and the typical pepper spice the Grampian region is famous for. Intense red and black cherry fruits dominate the palate, heightened by the growing presence of blue florals and pepper spice. Chewy tannins, subtle oak and fine acidity achieve amazing length and balance - another Cliff Edge Shiraz in excellent form.
