3 Fonteinen Oude Kriek s19/20 1500ml
Oude Kriek 3 Fonteinen is produced by ripening of cherries (both the flesh and the seeds) in young Lambic. This process takes between 6 to 8 months. After bottling the beer matures for at Bottles least 4 months in a warm room where the spontaneous fermentation in the bottle is done.
For this Oude Kriek, 3 Fonteinen macerated whole sour cherries on one- and almost-two-year old lambik in stainless steel. The maceration lasted fro 5 and a half months. The lambikken that they used for macerating and blending originate from three different barrels and four different brews. The final fruit intensity is 346 grams of sour cherries per litre of Oude Kriek. Bottling Date 17/12/2019
