Adelphi The Brisbane whisky fusion is mahogany in hue with amber highlights.

Initially nose drying, with freshly baked croissants topped with butterscotch sauce, pecan pie, ginger, runny honey, chocolate éclairs and banoffee.

Chocolate éclairs in the taste with stone fruits in the development: ripe plum, apricot and tinned prune juice.

Sweet overall in the finish; creamy mouthfeel, bitter chocolate and more toffee to finish.

What an exciting time to be alive as Australia's Starward Whisky gets blended with this latest release from Adelphi 'The Brisbane'. Named after Sir Thomas Makdougall Brisbane, a distinguished British soldier, but is most notably regarded for his scientific achievements.

A continuation of collaboration which began with Adelphi's first fusion whisky 'Glover', a Japanese-Scotch blend and Scotch-Indian hybrid. The Aldephi Brisbane is yet another ambitious undertaking. Adelphi selected three sherry (Apera) casks from Melbourne's Starward Distillery, and fused them with two Spanish oak ex-sherry hogsheads from Glen Garioch and a portion of one ex-sherry butt from Glen Grant.

This release from Adelphi is limited to just 932 bottles globally.
